“Sunshine Coast Open House”

The Sunshine Coast’s largest public architecture and design festival is currently underway, and the community is invited to take a sneak peek into some of the region’s historic, contemporary and sustainable buildings stretching from Caloundra to Noosa and into the hinterland.

A revived 1960s beach treasure, a family tree house and a historic homestead are among the buildings being opened to the public as part of a popular festival. Sunshine Coast Open House is the region’s largest public architecture and design festival behind-the-scenes tours, talks and special experiences.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share. We wish to pay respect to their Elders – past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the important role First Nations people continue to play within the Sunshine Coast community.
